Harris County Precinct One offices, centers, parks and other facilities will be closed Monday, Aug. 28 due to widespread flooding caused by Tropical Storm Harvey.
Harris County Precinct One Commissioner Rodney Ellis will make a decision Monday as to whether to extend the closure.
Meanwhile, the Harris County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management remains in operation during this county-wide emergency.
Precinct One crews have been assisting with high-water rescues and are available to remove downed trees and clean drains.
Precinct One residents who live in unincorporated areas can call the Precinct at 713-991-6881 to report flooding or roadway problems.
