Finnigan Park Community Center

Description

The Finnigan Park Project was created to meet the community's educational, recreational and social needs. This depression-era (1939) park has been redesigned as a multipurpose facility equipped to offer an array of health, social and recreational services for all ages. This idea was conceived by the late Commissioner El Franco Lee and implemented by his talented and dedicated staff.

The Finnigan Park Project is a partnership between Harris County Precinct One, the City of Houston and Houston Independent School District.
