Blue Ridge Park is a 296-acre youth sports complex containing four regulation youth soccer fields and a practice field, with LED lighting. Additional improvements include restrooms, a playground, water fountains, benches, picnic tables, a pavilion, landscaping, and 70 permeable parking spaces. The fields provide recreational opportunities while preserving the area for flood mitigation. The park can also be conveniently accessed from the Sims Bayou Greenway.
This park was made possible through a partnership between the Office of Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis and the Qatar Harvey Fund.
The fields are managed by the Shadow Creek Soccer Club. When the soccer club is not operating its programs or performing maintenance, the fields are available to the general public for youth soccer activities during daytime hours.
